Concón is a small coastal town in Chile, located just 20 kilometers north of Viña-del-Mar. Concón is known as the gastronomic capital of the country with a population of around 50,000, thanks to its numerous restaurants specializing in seafood freshly caught from the Pacific Ocean. The town is particularly famous for its fish dishes and sea urchins, attracting food lovers from all over the country.
Concón is also popular among beachgoers and water sports enthusiasts. Its scenic coastline boasts picturesque beaches such as Las Salinas, Amarilla, and La Boca. The latter is especially renowned as one of the best surfing spots in Chile due to its strong and consistent waves.
